Standards are developed by consensus, so getting alignment is not always easy, but it’s amazing to see our members put aside their personal interests for the greater good. This sentiment is shared by CSA Group’s employees as well. There are so many people and departments that provide support and diligently work in the background to help us create and develop standards and the tools to effectively use them.

Beyond my day-to-day tasks, training and development is ongoing. CSA Group invests in me, ensuring that I get the necessary qualifications for my role, and keeping my knowledge and skill set as current as possible.

CSA Group has allowed me to voice my needs and ideas for growth, while also providing the tangible support I need to help get there.

Empowered by our leadership team, we are provided with the opportunity to test and learn new marketing tools and approaches. This is very rewarding as I feel that I have a unique opportunity to shape the future of marketing at CSA Group.

I know it might be strange to associate innovation with a company that provides services instead of products. However, I’m amazed at the level of innovation that CSA Group is willing to explore to improve our offerings and provide customers with the solutions that they need.

Before joining CSA Group, I worked in Mexico as a certification engineer for an appliance manufacturer. While working in this role, I had the opportunity to visit CSA Group’s appliance labs in Toronto to prepare for and witness the start of a test. Very quickly I decided that I wanted to move to Canada and grow my career at CSA Group.
