COVERAGE:

Ground clamps, bonding devices, grounding bushings, water-meter shunts, ground rods, and
the like used in a grounding system and equipment for making electrical connections
between ground electrodes and the grounding conductors for electrical supply systems,
non-current-carrying metal parts of electrical equipment, armoured grounding wires,
metal raceways and electrical telecommunication systems, such as telephone, radio and CATV power
broadband.

REQUIREMENTS:

MARKING:

On the product:

• submittor's identification.
• In addition, ground clamps shall be marked with the following:
  i) size of electrode, pipe, tubing or rebar and size of grounding conductor;
  ii) the term "AL" where acceptable for use with aluminum wire;
  iii) the term "AL-CU" where acceptable for use with both aluminum
  and copper wire;
  iv) the term "direct burial" "DB" or equivalent were
  acceptable for concrete encasement.
  v) the "Copper Water Tubing Item" where applicable.

On the product or an attached tag and/or on the smallest package:

• model designation or equivalent;
• wire and electrode sizes;
• additional markings as may be required;
• CSA Monogram.
