COVERAGE:

Luminaires using Light emitting diode (LED) types of light sources, designed specifically for installation of the housing wholly or partially recessed in a wall or ceiling surface, and which may also be used in dry, damp, or wet locations. Listing is by model designation. These LED luminaires are designated to be employed on the circuits of not more than 600V ac between supply conductors in accordance with the National Electrical Code and are provided with an LED driver that is either remote or internal to the luminaire.

This class does not cover the following:

·      luminaires used as part of a low voltage lighting system under Class 3426 86 or 3425 95; and

·      luminaires employing incandescent, fluorescent, or HID light sources under 3423-81.

LED Components used in luminaires may be listed under Class No. 3426 92 for LED Drivers and Class No. 3402 93 for LED Arrays and Packages.

• Submittor's identification;
• Model designation or equivalent;
• Electrical rating;
• Maximum lamp-wattage and lamp type caution (where applicable);
• Date code;
• Assembly instructions, on a sheet supplied in or on the carton or container (where applicable);
• Cautions and warnings (where applicable);
• Additional markings as may be required;
• CLASS 2 (as applicable);
• DRY LOCATIONS ONLY or SUITABLE FOR DAMP LOCATIONS, (as applicable);
• CSA Mark with US indicator.
