COVERAGE:
Open- or enclosed-type switches for industrial and commercial control applications,
pressure- or vacuum-operated, for indication and/or control, rated in amperes or
horsepower, standard or heavy duty, pilot duty, special pilot duty or "code
rated" depending on the testing schedule as specified in Standard C22.2 No. 14
"Industrial Control Equipment" or may have special marked ratings.

  1. Open type devices are Certified only for use in complete assemblies where the
    suitability of the combination is subject to further investigation.
  2. Devices with special purpose enclosures are marked to indicate compliance with Standard
    C22.2 No 94. Any extended endurance ratings (number of cycles) or other notes applicable
    to specific models or submittors are detailed in the individual submittor’s listing.

MARKING:

  • Submittor’s identification;
  • Model designation or equivalent;
  • Complete electrical rating or rating code;
  • Enclosure designation "CSA ENC 2 (or 3 or 4 or 12 etc.)" and "COFFRET CSA
    2 (or 3 or 4 or 12 etc.)" as applicable;
  • Additional markings as may be required;
  • CSA Monogram;
