COVERAGE:

• Electric resistance type space (comfort) heaters, designed for fixed installation and permanent connection to the power supply, of the convection, radiation, forced-air, or combination type. Heaters may be for recessed, surface or suspended mounting installation. Combination heater, light and/or ventilation assemblies are also covered;
•  Electric duct heaters for comfort heating;
•  Furnace plenum-mounted add-on electric heaters;
•  Sauna heaters, either stand alone or in combination with a prefabricated factory-built rigid room or rigid cabinet, either cord connected or permanently connected;
•  Central heating electric hot water boilers.

This category does not include heaters for use on farms, for horticultural use or for frost protection.

•  temperature rating for supply wiring where necessary;
•  reference to installation instructions for sauna heaters; and other heating panels.
