This accreditation, managed by the IEC System of Conformity Assessment Schemes for Electrotechnical Equipment and Components, was granted on August 30, 2023. This marks a notable achievement for CSA Group Singapore, as this accreditation allows the laboratory to provide international certifications for electronic devices in three key categories – Information Technology Audio Video (IT/AV), Measurement, Control, and Laboratory Equipment (MEAS) and IT and Office Equipment (OFF).

The IECEE, is a global certification system that promotes mutual acceptance of test reports and certificates for the safety of electrical and electronic products. It operates based on IEC International Standards, covering 23 categories of equipment, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and performance across applications, such as residential, commercial, and healthcare. IECEE facilitates worldwide recognition of certificates of conformity, serving as a direct pathway to global markets when national authorities, retailers, buyers, and vendors accept the CB test certificate and its associated test report.
