CONATEL was closed through March 27 and is currently working with limited staff until April 12 with some staff working remotely.

The Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare issued Decreto N. 3478/2020 on March 20 in response to the pandemic, which followed Decreto N. 3456/2020 that declared the official State of Emergency.  CONATEL issued Resolution 574/2020 in response, and is suspending the reception of documents and applications at CONATEL’s office indefinitely.  Alternate electronic submission methods may be utilized during this time.
