The Government of the Republic of Moldova released Decision No. 34 that will impact the approval process in Moldova starting February 21, 2021.

The following are the major changes:

• Applicants will now have a choice between four conformity assessment modules Module A, Module B, Module C, and Module H
• The local SM Mark will no longer be required if products already have CE Marking

We encourage manufacturers to continue seeking compliance based on the new approval system to prevent issues for products entering the Moldovan marketplace.
