Mexico Starts Enforcement of Product Packaging Labeling & Warranty Info at Customs
| The Servicio Nacional de Informaciónde Comercio Exterior (SNICE) in Mexico has reported that Anexo 2.4.1 has been updated and customs in Mexico are now checking shipments to ensure compliance to applicable Product Packaging Labeling & Warranty standards, such as NOM-024-SCFI-2013. Products with HS codes subject to these NOMs without the proper information may be subject to customs clearance delays and fines. The implementation date is October 1, 2020. |
