Malaysia (SIRIM) - Trusted Mark Scheme (STMS) For E-Commerce
Malaysia SIRIM has launched a new scheme called SIRIM Trusted Mark Scheme (STMS).
This is a voluntary certification scheme to award/recognize/certify Trusted Companies that sell and/or supply products on E-Commerce Platform (this scheme is only applicable for shops in e-Commerce Platform).
Main benefits of getting STMS are:
- Gain confidence for buyers to buy from sellers with Trusted Mark
- Prove that this product is genuine (as it go through the Type Approval Certification Scheme)
- Improve brand awareness and gain advantage from parallel importers
The official launching of this scheme is on May 20, 2021.
