Jordan (TRC) - Extended The List Of Exempted Devices
Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) in Jordan updated the approval process, the requirements and the technical standards for SRD, and issued a list of radio devices which are exempted from type approval.
The list of radio devices exempted from type approval is:
- Laptops and PCs with Radio interfaces
- Bluetooth Headsets and all other devices which support Bluetooth
- Printers with and without WIFI, as long as they don’t include fax
- Surveillance camera (wired and wireless)
- GPS navigation devices without sim card etc.
