India (BIS) – Extended Date of Implementation of IS 16046
Effective February 11, 2020
The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has again extended the implementation of IS 16046: 2017 (Part 1 & 2) to September 30, 2020.
IS 16046 standards are safety requirements for Secondary Cells and Batteries Containing Alkaline or Other Non-Acid Electrolytes.
