China (National Standard of P.R.C.) – Minimum Allowable Values of the Energy Efficiency and Energy Efficiency Grades for Room Air Conditioners

National Standard of the P.R.C., introduces the standard which specifies the energy efficiency grade, energy efficiency limit value and test methods of room air conditioners. This standard is applicable to room air conditioner using air-cooled condenser and fully enclosed electric compressor, with rated refrigeration capacity not exceeding 14000W, and of climate type T1 as well as low ambient temperature air source heat pump hot air blower with nominal heating capacity not exceeding 14000W. This standard is not applicable to mobile air conditioners, multi-connected air conditioning units, air duct, air supply, and air conditioners.

This standard specifies the energy efficiency grade, energy efficiency limit value and test methods of LED flat panel luminaires. This standard is applicable to LED flat panel luminaires for common lighting with LED as light source, with rated voltage 220V, frequency 50Hz, thickness not exceeding 85mm, including LED light source and its control devices. The thickness of external control device is not calculated in the thickness of lamps. This standard is not applicable to LED flat panel luminaires with energy-consuming non-illumination additional function, LED flat panel luminaires with dimming/coloring adjustment function, or LED flat panel luminaires with color, pattern or decoration on continuous luminous surface.

The standard specifies the energy efficiency grade, energy efficiency limit value and test method of arc welding machines and resistance welding machines. This standard is applicable to arc welders and resistance welders designed for industrial and professional purposes and not exceeding the voltage specified in GB/T 156. The resistance welding machines subject to this standard refers in particular to the resistance welding transformers which will finally be installed with the frame, the input circuit and the secondary circuit. This standard is not applicable to AC TIG arc welding machines, AC-DC dual-purpose TIG arc welding machines, power frequency secondary rectifier resistance welding machines, seam welding machines, resistance butt welding machines, flash butt welding machines, energy storage resistance welding machines, inverted AC resistance welding machines, and resistance welding transformers and mechanical equipment driven welding machines that are sold separately.
