CHILE (SUBTEL) UPDATED RULES FOR UNLICENSED DEVICES
Effective May 7, 2019
Telecommunication Authority SUBTEL published Resolution 855 which updated the regulations for short range unlicensed devices.
The important change includes the revised output power limit for WLAN frequency band 5150MHz – 5250MHz from EIRP 200mW, now is allowed up to EIRP 250mW (23.98 dBm).
The updated revision also contains the frequency bands & output power limit for IoT (Internet of Things) application.
