Effective September 14, 2018, will be revising the service allocation for radio frequency band 698 – 806 MHz (the “Affected Band“) and will stop accepting any equipment registrations (both new and renewal) for equipment operating in the Affected Band.  Equipment registration will only be accepted for equipment operating in the radio frequency band 470 – 698 MHz. In addition, all sales of equipment operating in the Affected Band for use in Singapore are to cease effective from  January 1,2019.

2. SINGAPORE ENTERPRISE ANNOUNCES UPDATED SAFETY MARK

For existing and new product registered before April 2, 2019, that have not implemented the new logo, manufacturers/ suppliers will have a grace period until April 2, 2022 to implement the new logo.

For all new products registered after April 1, 2019 it will be mandatory to apply the new safety mark.

Please note also that the color of the safety mark has been changed, from Pantone 287C Blue to Pantone 032C Red. The font, layout, and orientation have also been changed. Please see the example below of the new safety mark and a graphical representation of the implementation and transition dates.
