CSA Group Warns of Portable Gas Grills Displaying Unauthorized CSA Group Certification Marks

CSA Group, a global provider of testing and certification services and a leading standards development organization, notifies consumers of unauthorized use of CSA Group Trademarks on Portable Gas Grills sold in the U.S market.

The Portable Gas Grills displays an unauthorized use of CSA Group’s certification mark implying the unit has been certified. The identified units are Model “DDR-BBQ-BLK” and branded as “DDR” with serial numbers ranging “3501000-3507842”.

There have been no reports of damage, fire or injury to date.

Consumers are encouraged to check CSA Group’s certified product listing to verify the certification of products.  Consumers with the affected models are advised to immediately discontinue use of the product and to contact CSA Group’s anti-counterfeiting team at crush.counterfeiting@csagroup.org.
