 This Standard covers the extracorporeal blood circuit for hemodialysers,hemofilters, and hemoconcentrators.
 1.2
 This Standard applies to blood tubings and accessory tubings for the extracorporeal blood circuit of a hemodialyser, hemofilter, or
 hemoconcentrator. Accessory tubings include fluid infusion tubings and tubings for attaching the extracorporeal blood circuit to pressure monitors.
 1.3
 The requirements of this Standard do not apply to hemodialysers,hemofilters, hemoconcentrators, vascular access devices, blood pumps,
 pressure monitors of the extracorporeal blood circuit, air detection devices, and hemodialysis systems to prepare, maintain, and monitor the dialysate.
