This new CSA Standard CAN3-M421-M, Use of Electricity in Mines, supersedes CSA Standard C22.5-1977, Canadian Electrical Code, Part V, Use of Electricity in Mines. It is written in SI (metric) units.
Scope
1.1 This Standard establishes minimum requirements for all electrical work and electrical equipment operating or intended to operate, in mines and quarries.
