This Standard applies to insulation coordination for three-phase ac electric power systems having nominal system voltages above 1 kV and covers both phase-to-ground and phase- to-phase insulation. 1.2 This Standard consists of two parts as follows:
(a) Part 1#Principles of Insulation Coordination; and (b) Part 2#Insulation Coordination Practice.
