Codes & Standards - Purchase
CSA CGA 12.4-M84 (R2018)
This Standard applies to the mechanical and electrical features of newly manufactured dispensing devices for propane liquid for use as fuel in internal combustion engines where such devices are intended primarily to dispense the liquid directly into the fuel storage tank of the vehicle.
This Standard contains SI (Metric) equivalents to the yard/pound quantities, the purpose being to allow the standard to be used in SI (Metric) units. If a value for a measurement as given in this Standard is followed by an equivalent value in other units, the first stated is to be regarded as the requirement. The given equivalent may be approximate. If a value for a measurement and an equivalent value in other units are both specified as a quoted marking requirement, the first stated unit, or both units shall be provided.
Installation of a dispensing device shall be in accordance with CAN1-B149.2 Installation Code for Propane Burning Appliances and Equipment, and the latest edition of CSA Standard C22.1 Canadian Electrical Code, Part I, and requirements of the authorities having jurisdiction.
