Preface
This is the second edition of CSA Z241 Series, Park Model Trailers, which consists of the following Standards:
- Z241.0, Definitions and General Safety Requirements for Park Model Trailers;
- Z241.1, Vehicular Requirements for Park Model Trailers;
- Z241.2, Construction Requirements for Park Model Trailers;
- Z241.3, Plumbing System Requirements for Park Model Trailers;
- Z241.4, Installation Requirements for Propane Appliances and Equipment in Park Model Trailers; and
- Z241.5, Electrical Requirements for Park Model Trailers.
It supersedes the previous edition published in 1992.
The purpose of this Series of Standards is to ensure that these recreational living units meet the minimum safety and performance requirements expected by the Canadian market for park model trailers. It is based on the CSA Series of Standards for mobile homes (CAN/CSA-Z240 MH) and recreational vehicles (CAN/CSA-Z240 RV).
