Scope Details test and examination criteria for direct gas-fired industrial air heaters for use in industrial and commercial applications with discharge air temperatures of 106ºF (71ºC) or less. This standard is intended to cover only complete packaged heaters with integral air moving components, i.e., those which are designed by, cataloged by and built on a repetitive basis by the manufacturer.
