This special publication outlines the requirements of a chain of custody process for forest products originating from a defined forest area (DFA) that is registered to CSA Standard CAN/CSA-Z809 by an SFM (sustainable forest management) registrar accredited by the Standards Council of Canada.
Note: Label requirements and product claims (on and off product) regarding the use of the CSA SFM mark are not covered in this special publication.
