Method of Test for Compressive Strength of Masonry Prisms
Product Details
Preface
This is the first edition of CSA Standard CAN3—A369.1, Method of Test or Compressive Strength of Masonry Prisms, and is written in SI (metric) units.
This Standard covers procedures for the making, curing, and testing in compression of masonry prisms primarily during the preconstruction phase of masonry construction.
The development of this Standard started in 1977 with the formation of the Technical Committee on Testing of Masonry Assemblages. Under the terms of reference established by the Standards Steering Committee on Masonry the Technical Committee was to outline the various testing techniques for determining the properties of masonry—the first technique being that for compressive strength.
This Standard was prepared by the Technical Committee on Testing of Masonry Assemblages under the jurisdiction of the CSA Standards Steering Committee on Masonry and was formally approved by these Committees. It was approved as a National Standard of Canada by the Standards Council of Canada.
Scope
