In the Advanced Hazardous Locations (HazLoc) Explosionproof & Flameproof – Level 2 course, participants will undergo an in-depth exploration of safety considerations in hazardous environments. The course covers a wide range of critical topics, including shafts with sleeve bearings, ball/roller bearings, welded joints, cemented joints, fused glass joints, labyrinth joints, conical joints, and more.

By completing this course, participants will be well-prepared to address complex challenges for safety in hazardous environments, as well as receive a Certificate of Completion.

Instructor Information
Andrew Redeker, a Certified Electronics Technologist at CSA Group, brings over three decades of expertise to his role. His career journey within the organization has been marked by significant milestones. Starting as a lab technician in 1991, Andrew transitioned to a certifier by 1993, specializing in certifying products within the Hazardous Locations (HazLoc) group. In 2001, he assumed the role of a Certification Specialist, focusing on validating the safety and compliance of Hazloc products. From 2018 onwards, Andrew took on mentoring responsibilities for Hazloc certifiers and conducted meticulous reviews of projects within the Operations and Engineering Support group (OESG). Currently, Andrew contributes to external customer training within the Technical Training and Support (TTS) group, leveraging his wealth of experience to enhance customers’ knowledge and compliance efforts.
