VALVES - Actuators - Certified to US Standards

COVERAGE:
Electrically operated, general purpose valve actuators, intended for use in
ordinary locations rated 600
volts and less. Actuators intended for use in other equipment are subject to additional
investigation with the equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:

UL 429 Electrically Operated Valves

NOTES:
Notes applicable to specific devices or submittors are detailed in the individual
submittor's listing.

MARKING:
All marking required by CSA must be permanent, legible and located when readily visible
for review after installation of the equipment, except as permitted otherwise. The
contents consist of:

  • Submittor's identification;
  • Model designation or equivalent;
  • Complete electrical rating;
  • Time rating if not continuous;
  • Date code or equivalent;
  • Additional markings as may be required by the applicable Standard(s) for specific models
    or usages;
  • CSA Mark and "US" indicator adjacent to the CSA
    Mark.
