locations and rated 600 volts and less. Actuators intended for use in other equipment are
subject to additional investigation with the equipment.

The above category includes modulating type.
Actuators are subjected to endurance cycle test, based on declared end
application use.

This category does not include performance capabilities of equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:

The above Standard(s) may also require the use of associated Informs, Notices and/or
Supplements due, for example, to new requirements becoming effective after publication of
the Standard(s).

NOTES:

Notes applicable to specific devices or submittors are detailed in the
individual submittor's listing.

MARKING:

All marking required by CSA must be permanent, legible and located when readily visible
for review after installation of the equipment, except as permitted otherwise. The
contents consist of:

• Submittor's identification;
• Model designation or equivalent;
• Complete electrical rating;
• Time rating if not continuous;
• Date code or equivalent;
• Maximum torque;
• Additional markings as may be required by the applicable Standard(s) for specific models
  or usages;
• CSA Monogram.

The marking method consists of a date plate or plates or equally permanent marking
applied at the factory.
