Notes:

  1. The body of these thermistors shall not be relied on for insulation.
  2. The rated voltage for thermistors Type SL08, SL10, SL12 and SL15 is 120V ac and that for thermistors Type SL22 and SL32 is 250V ac.
  3. The subject components are Certified as a component parts for use in other Certified equipment where the suitability of the combination is to be determined by the Canadian Standards Association.
  4. The thermistor should be:
    1)  protected by a fuse not larger than its current rating, or
    2)  mounted with suitable spacing from metal parts, or
    3)  connected in a circuit where a short-circuit across the supply after device is unlikely to occur.
  • NTC thermistors type SGXXYYYZZ, rated for use in 60Hz systems up to 250V.  XX is a 2 -digit number = 12, 15, 16 or 32 indicating the disc diameter in mm; YYY is a 2 - digit number with R between for decimal place or a 3 - digit number with the Last digit as a power of 10 multiplier indicating the resistance at 25C; and ZZ is a 2 - digit number indicating the maximum steady state current.  See below for specific types Component Accepted.
