    Notes:

    1. The ratings of the control equipment shall not exceed the rating of the subject device.

    2. The temperature rise on the connecting straps shall not exceed 65C rise at an ambient temperature of 40C max.  Consideration should be given in the end product to determine if a repeat of the Temperature Test is necessary.

    3. These devices should be mounted in an enclosure having adequate dimensions and thickness in the intended manner and with suitable spacings provided in accordance with the end use.

    4. The application of the covers does not justify the reduction of the electrical spacings through air or over surface.

    5. These devices have not been investigated for make/break operations, and shall be investigated as part of the ultimate application.

    6. These devices were subject to 5 and 10kA, 600V ac and 42kA, 480V ac Short Circuit Tests. A determination should be made in the end application if a Short Circuit Test should be performed.

    7. Busbar Support 484 is provided with wiring terminals, however, it is intended for use as an end of run busbar support with the terminals intended for factory connection to control circuit devices only. 

       The control circuit devices shall be provided    with overcurrent and short circuit protection.

    8. The suitability of the bus bar terminals for Type No. 4610.1 has not been evaluated with respect to secureness, pullout, or the ability of the device which is mounted to the adapter to accommodate the bus bar terminals. 

        This should be evaluated  in the end use application.

    9. Fuseholder, Cat Nos JC100, JC200, JC400 are to be mounted on a panel in an enclosure with min dimensions of 72 by 36 by 12 in.  These devices were subjected to a 200kA, 600V ac short circuit test.

    10. Fuseholder, Cat No JC100B, JC200B are to be mounted on 10 by 20mm bus bar system. Fuseholder, Cat No JC400B are to be mounted on 10 by 30mm bus bar system.  These devices were subjected to a 65kA, 600V ac short circuit test.

    11. The power terminal assembly Type 240-L is rated 195A and Type 243-L is rated 400A.

    12. Fuseholder, Cat No AEL 10x38 and AEL CC are to be mounted a bus bar system. These devices were subjected to a 50kA resp. 200kA, 600V ac short circuit test and are suitable for use with 16-10 AWG copper wire only
