1.1 La présente norme vise les organismes d'essai chargés de la mise à l'essai des réseaux de canalisations des gaz médicaux ininflammables, afin de déterminer leur conformité à la troisième partie de la norme ACNOR Z305.1.
1.2 Cette norme est constituée de deux parties:
(a) les chapitres 1 à 5 énoncent les exigences minimales s'appliquant aux organismes d'essai, y compris les qualifications administratives minimales et les qualités requises du personnel pour appuyer toute déclaration de compétence; et (b) le chapitre 6 énonce les exigences minimales auxquelles peut avoir recours un organisme d'essai pour l'analyse d'échantillons de gaz médicaux afin de déterminer leur conformité aux exigences du tableau 7 de la norme ACNOR Z305.1.
