It is the First edition of CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 62841-2-9 and the First edition of UL 62841-2-9. This harmonized Standard has been jointly revised on October 10, 2017. For this purpose, CSA Group and UL are issuing revision pages dated October 10, 2017.
This harmonized standard is based on IEC Publication 62841-2-9: First edition Motor-Operated Hand-Held Tools, Transportable Tools And Lawn And Garden Machinery – Safety – Part 2-9: Particular Requirements For Hand-Held Tappers And Threaders issued January 2015. IEC publication 62841-2-9 is copyrighted by the IEC.
This standard has been approved as a National Standard of Canada by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC).
This standard has been approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) as an American National Standard.
