Details test and examination criteria for direct gas-fired industrial air heaters of the non-recirculating type in which all air to the heater is ducted directly from outdoors and the products of combustion generated by the heaters are released into the air stream being heated. This standard applies to heaters intended for use in industrial and commercial applications and are designed for heated discharge air temperatures of 160ºF (71ºC) or less.
