Manufacturing, Design, Planning – 2018 Canadian Electrical Code
This training course is designed to help users understand and meet CE Code specifications on: planning, designing, approval and certification of electrical requirements. The course provides participants with a solid foundation to understand and apply the latest requirements of the 2018 Canadian Electrical Code, Part I.
This course enables participants to learn how to interpret CE Code applications through real-life examples and scenarios and helps Code users become more confident in their ability to comply with Code requirements. This course is available online, in-class, or on-site at your location to best suit your needs. A certificate of achievement is provided upon completion of the course.
- Gain an understanding of CE Code sections as they relate to, designing, approving and planning of electrical requirements
- Summarize what is within and outside of the Scope of the Code.
- Identify requirements from the general Sections of the Code (0 to16 and 26).
- Explain many location- and equipment-specific installation requirements which supplement or amend general Code requirements.

Jurisdictions across Canada adopt the code as a model code for regulation, as is or with provincial or territorial interpretations.
