Course Overview
The CSA Z8004 standard provides requirements for safe operation, infection prevention, and control of long-term care homes. This Standard is intended for use by operational staff, infection prevention and control personnel, directors of care, architects, designers, engineers, governmental bodies, and residents and families.
This online course will provide an overview of the CSA Z8004:22 standard, the need to apply commitments to person-centred care, relationship building skills, equity, diversity, and inclusion to operate a long-term care home effectively while upholding the rights of residents and their families.
