This is the second edition of CSA C380, Test procedure for the measurement of energy consumption of set-top boxes (STBs). It supersedes the previous edition, published in 2008.
This Standard specifies the test method for measuring the energy consumption of set-top boxes, whose primary function is video reception and delivery. It maps IEC measurement values to the ENERGY STAR® program’s set-top box requirements and provides localization guidance for the North American market. This Standard has been revised to advance harmonization with IEC 62087.
