Product Details
Preface
This is the first edition of No. 23.1 of a series of Standards issued by Canadian Standards Association under Part II of the Canadian Electrical Code.
This Standard applies to central warm air electric resistance type furnaces which are either incorporated in a solid fuel fired furnace or are attached to a solid fuel fired furnace, so as to form a single unit which can be used as an electric furnace, a solid fuel fired furnace, or both simultaneously if so designed.
The requirements of this Standard are additional to those of CSA Standard C22.2 No. 23, Electric Central Warm Air Furnaces, and CAN3-B366.1, Solid-Fuel-Fired Appliances for Residential Use.
For general information on the Standards of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part II, see the Preface of CSA Standard C22.2 No. 0, General Requirements—Canadian Electrical Code, Part II.
This Standard was prepared by a Subcommittee of the Technical Committee on Environmental Products under the jurisdiction of the Standards Steering Committee on Canadian Electrical Code, Part II, and was formally approved by these Committees.
This Standard has been developed in compliance with Standards Council of Canada requirements for National Standards of Canada. It has been published as a National Standard of Canada by CSA Group.
