Product Details
Preface
This is the second edition of No. 187 of a series of Standards issued by the Canadian Standards Association under Part II of the Canadian Electrical Code, and supersedes the first edition published in 1982. It is written in SI (metric) units.
This Standard applies to electrostatic air cleaners for use in nonhazardous locations and for installation in accordance with the rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I.
At the time of publication of this Standard the permissible levels of ozone had yet to be established. An amendment to this Standard will therefore be published once these levels are known.
For general information on Standards of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part II, see the preface of CSA Standard C22.2 No. 0, General Requirements—Canadian Electrical Code, Part II.
This Standard was prepared by a Subcommittee of the Technical Committee on Environmental Products under the jurisdiction of the Standards Steering Committee on CE Code, Part II, and was formally approved by these Committees.
