Product Details
Industry need for a Code addressing safety requirements of natural gas fuelling station installations was the catalyst for CSA Group to create this document. CAN/CSA-B108-99 (R2012) applies to natural gas fueling stations for use by fleet and public, indoor and outdoor dispensing operations. This standard addresses the installation of all applicable equipment at the fuelling station site. The safety requirements of individual components and equipment are addressed in the individual equipment standards.

Scope

This Standard applies to natural gas fuelling stations that may be employed for fleet and public dispensing operations.
1.2
Where the word shall is used in this Standard, it indicates a requirement unless approved otherwise by the authority having jurisdiction.
1.3
This Standard is written in SI (metric) units, with equivalent yard/pound units in parentheses. If a value for measurement as given in this Standard is followed by an equivalent value in other units, the first stated is to be regarded as the requirement.
