CSA Group is notifying consumers and retailers that a Class 2 Transformer/Adapter manufactured by CIC – Challenge Industrial Co. Ltd. bears a counterfeit CSA Mark for Canada and the United States. The CIC brand Class 2 Transformers/Adapters have not been evaluated by CSA Group to the applicable CSA standard, and it is unknown if the product complies with safety requirements for Canada or the United States. Please contact the point of sale or the distributor to facilitate a return and/or exchange. The affected products bear the model number: 48A-12-500Q
