Affected products: This recall by the manufacturer involves only the Dyna-One Energy Absorber Lanyard.

This recall affects only the specific product families listed below, with identified manufacturing dates between October 2018 and June 2021. Models outside of this date range are not affected.

Issue: The lanyards have recently been found not to meet one CSA specification requirement and can produce higher than expected maximum arresting forces in the event of a fall in extreme wet and frozen conditions, posing a potential injury hazard. As of January 17, 2022, the company has received no report of incident in Canada, and no report of injuries.

What you should do: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Dyna-One Energy Absorber Lanyard and contact the manufacturer for a replacement product.
