CSA Group Warns of Counterfeit CSA Group Certification Marks on Serpentec Locking Extension Cord Connector Packaging

CSA Group, a global provider of testing, inspection and certification services and a standards development organization, notifies members of the public of Counterfeit CSA Group Certification Marks on packaging of certain Serpentec Locking Extension Cord Connectors.
Certain Serpentec Locking Extension Cord Connector models with packaging bearing unauthorized CSA Group certification marks were sold in physical and online marketplaces. CSA Group has not tested or certified these Locking Extension Cord Connectors to the applicable standards.
Consumers who wish to verify CSA Group certification for authenticity are encouraged to check CSA Group’s certified product listing.
There have been no reports of damage, fire or injury to date.

Identification: Affected units have model numbers 630-15AREPLEND and 630-20AREPLEND and display unauthorized CSA Group certification marks on the back of the product packaging, as shown in the photos below:
