The purpose of this bulletin is to notify Carrier Commercial customers that existing Applied Rooftop Units (ART) with electric heaters may have had the CSA mark improperly applied.

ARTs with 50DW electric heaters manufactured between March 2005 to November 2022 bearing the CSA mark are not considered to be CSA Group certified. This mark was improperly applied to non-CSA certified heaters. This error is applicable to the 50P series rooftops with low, medium, and high electric heat in 208/230v, 460v and 575v in both staged and SCR control.
