Ash Sahi, President and CEO, CSA Group, today announced the appointment of Magali Depras to the position of Vice President, Europe for CSA Group. Effective immediately, Ms. Depras will be located in Frankfurt, Germany and will be responsible for accelerating the growth of CSA services and offerings in Europe, as well as ensuring the provision of global services to all CSA European clients.

In addition to leading the European Division, Ms. Depras will also join the Board of Directors with the CSA – China Inspection and Certification Organization (CCIC) Joint Venture (JV). In this capacity, she will further provide strategic solutions and services to CSA’s European clients who have operations in China.

“Magali brings more than 20 years of European business experience and an impeccable track record in business development that will be instrumental in extending CSA Group’s regional and global service offerings for our European clients,” said Mr. Sahi. “Magali’s leadership skills, sales and marketing expertise will serve as invaluable assets as CSA Group expands its current testing and certification services in HazLoc, medical, photovoltaic and other programs in Europe.”

Ms. Depras joins CSA Group from Brødrene Hartmann A/S, an approximately $200-million (USD) European packaging business. Hartmann is a publicly listed firm on the Copenhagen Exchange. Over the past 20 years, Magali managed their sales and marketing departments. Her last role was Chief Commercial Officer and Member of Executive Board, where she was responsible for global sales, marketing and product development strategies.

Ms. Depras holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from IAE Paris Sorbonne and a Master’s degree in Foreign Languages from the University of Lille, and a number of other degrees.
