Thailand TISI officially announced the new standard TIS 1195-2561 Audio, Video, and Similar Electronic Apparatus – Safety Requirements on March 2, 2021.  The standard will come into effect on August 29, 2021 on Royal Gazette.

The standard TIS 1195-2561 applies for audio and video products. Tentative products included in the mandatory standard are TV, speaker, game console and its power supply adapter.

TISI has yet concluded mandatory standards for other product categories as they are hybrid products (examples: video projector, video camera, CCTV camera, tape recorders, LED/LCD display monitor and etc).
