Thailand (NBTC) - Exemption of License for Radiocommunication Equipment and Radio Communication Station under Radiocommunications Act
Effective May 15, 2020
The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) has released the notification on Exemption of License for Radiocommunication Equipment and Radio Communication Station under Radiocommunications Act B.E. 2498 (1955).
This notification informs there is no significant change in frequency allocation or practice.
SDoC is the main certification for license exempted equipment. It will be issued based on “Criteria of using frequency and radiocommunication equipment that are authorized to use in general” dated December 26, 2019. The new regulation does not affect the registered SDoC.
