Thailand (NBTC) – Draft Standard for 5G NR [Public Hearing]
The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) has considered new technical standard for 5G NR.
- Public hearing for the new standard NBTC TS 1036-256x and NBTC TS 1037-256x has been ended on December 16, 2019
- NBTC is gathering all public hearing comments to amend their final draft
- Final draft of technical standard will be approved by NBTC top management (expected on January 2020)
- Approved technical standard will be announced on royal gazette around mid-end of February 2020. After announced on royal gazette, this technical standard will be effective immediately.
