Sri Lanka Government has imposed travel restrictions from May 21th – 28th to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) operates with a minimal staff due to Covid-19 outbreak. Hence, we expect some delays in issuing type approval certificates. Although, TRCSL will try to issue type approval numbers.

Upon receipt of the type approval number, manufacturers are permitted to import the products without the official certificates.
