The RRA notification has been revised to simplify the procedure of some products on June 28, 2021, and become effective immediately.

• Large size and fixed product

Large size product longer than 4m and higher than 3m

Complex Multimedia product longer than 2m and heavier than 250kg

ISM products using high frequency/Electric and Electrical Appliances/UPS/Multimedia products

Customized products

• The components installed in approved large products do not need additional tests for each component approval. However this does not apply to a large product tested on-site.

• In case approved large products replace a certain part with an approved component (having same function) and/or add an approved component, this change does not need to do additional tests or re-test.

• Wireless device used for aircraft. A wireless device approved by the manufacturer’s government applying international standards can use these test reports for KC certification application

• Electrical welding machine more than 10kVA rating input is exempted
