According to KATS Public Notice No. 2018-0325, Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) announced the KC 62133 standard. The amended safety standards shall include the calculation method for energy density to safety standards in order to clarify the measurements for the energy density of cells used in mobile phones, tablet PCs, laptops and others. Both KC 62133(2015) and KC 62133(2018) are currently accepted.
