On March 17, 2022, the Telecommunications and Postal Regulatory Authority (ARTP) of Senegal published Decision No. 2002-004 on the general operating conditions for short-range devices (SRD).

The new regulation opens new bands including:

• Non-specific applications, including ultra-wide band ( 6 – 8.5 GHz) and radar (57-64 GHz)
• RTTT (24.05-24.5 GHz and 77-81 GHz)
• More bands for inductive applications (e.g., wireless chargers)
• More bands for radiodetermination (e.g., TLPR and TLP).
